samyang 7.5mm f3.5 lens rehousing
building the most compact full circular fisheye lens for any 135 film interchangable camera system.
180 degrees of awesome
this design required sending off a few parts to be cnc machined. the viewfinder, and the redesigned focus track needed to be machined for durability and dimensional accuracy. while i’ve included the 3d printable files in my archive, generally cnc will do much better for a complete product.
this project was inspired from a mount plate replacement from nodal ninja. since i knew it could be used to create a full circular image on full frame sensors i set out to adapt it to leica m.
tools used: siemens solidedge, voxelab proxima 6 sla printer, cnc, brass (for the focus guide), belt sander, various taps & rasps
available on: leica m and mirrorless cameras with leica m adapter.

life caught in circles
field testing videos for me are always about results. as such my videos typically have no music and only include natural sounds as to not effect the perception of the viewer. an unbiased showcase of what people can photograph with the rehousing.
